Edward Cullen … OH MY GOD!

Today I regressed into a 17 year old teenage girl. How? I read the first 35 pages of “Twilight” on my way to work and another 100 during my break and the way back home. And I’ve fallen head over heals for Edward Cullen. Fallen fast and fallen hard!

When I ordered the first two books a while ago (after the whole saga was mentioned in quite a few journals/blogs) I was optimistic that I’d like the story. Otherwise I wouldn’t have ordered the two books at once . But I didn’t expected to be drawn into this story the way I have been. And it suprises me a little, because it’s not the most prize-worthy piece of literature. It actually really is teen chic-lit. But I really don’t care…

It’s written in such a compelling way, that I almost couldn’t put the book down. I had to set the alarm on my mobile to keep track of time and get off the right station. Oh my god, I’m in so deep already. But how can anyone who is “meeting” and getting to know Edward not fall head over heels? He’s handsome, fascinating, mysterious, intriguing, charming, dangerous…. OH MY GOD! But I’ll stop gushing now. I’ll try to at least :)

Don’t expect to read a lot from me during the next couple of days/weeks. I have to order book 3 and 4 from Amazon now and then I’m going back to Forks, WA.
