I don’t know what’s wrong with me. I’m so utterly listless today and it’s just the first day of the week. My weekend wasn’t too busy. Not busy at all, but I just feel… off. There are actually a couple of things I have to do besides my regular work. Work for job #2, doing local politics stuff, maybe get back to more disciplined studying? But I can’t get myself to do much of anything lately. Maybe the weather is bringing me down. I liked to see the first snow covering everything last night, but some icy rain had already washed that away until this morning. And walking to the train station in that icy rain sucks. It seemed to have snowed a bit again this evening, but I guess it’s all going to be gone in the morning as well. Yes, I’m not much of an optimist at the moment.

The Fray have got a new song and the video includes lots of old and new scenes from LOST. I can’t wait till this show returns in January.
Is there a cuter couple than Kevin and Scotty on “Brothers & Sisters”? They are sooo adorable.
I’m even so listless that I didn’t feel like catching up with the few TV show episodes I missed last week. Instead I decided to pop in one of my “feel good” movies, which I know by heart. Watching a movie I already know by heart always helps me to unwind, because I don’t have to be too attentive to the dialogue or the plot. I chose “The American President” this time, which I have watched several times on German TV but just once (now twice) on DVD in the original (English) Language. The funny thing is, that I actually am not a huge fan of Michael Douglas, but I really like him in this movie. “My name is Andrew Shepherd. And I AM the president!” Very cool and very presidental :-)
I’m hooked on the German novel “Eine Billion Dollar” at the moment, because I like the whole global sustainable development issue that’s been brought up in the story. I never expected that and I’m curious how it’s going to turn out. I’m not sure if Malcolm McCaine can be trusted. But tonight I’m even too listless to read a bit more and will go to bed in a couple of minutes. It’s only Monday night and I’m already exhausted :-(
