I’m seriously considering to turn on the heating, which I am reluctant to do every September, because it means summer is finally over. I’ll be leaving my apartment in 45 minutes, so I’ll refrain from turning the heating on, but I already now I will turn it on tomorrow afternoon, because that’s the first weekday afternoon / evening in a while, which I will be spending at home. Cleaning and (probably most of all) just relaxing. I have to take my DVR back to the shop to have it send back to Panasonic and I hope they still can fix what’s broken with the DVD player unit for a reasonable price. I don’t want to imagine the future weeks without my DVR. Maybe one of my brothers has got a spare DVD player so I can finally start to watch West Wing again. Not to talk about all the other stuff I prefer to watch on the TV and not on my computer screen. It’s just not the same…

There is not really much to write about at the moment (well, has there ever been during the last few months *sigh*)? I had a busy week last week, but part of that was a wonderful meeting with some old friends on Saturday and going to my first regular game of the Cologne Sharks this season. I had some trouble getting there (stupid train company. And stupid me for not checking in advance if there were some delays / interruptions). The game was ok, but they played against the weakest team of the whole league, so they actually should have won it easily. But they didn’t. They had to have a shoot out in the end. Which they won at least. Anyway, it was great to be back at the arena, watching the guys play and they did so much better than last season, which was the worst season I have experienced since I became a fan 10 years ago.

Among all that – busy schedules and activities – I still managed to kick some butt last week. My own most of all. After sort of failing at the GameOn diet in week 2 (got a lot of points, but didn’t lose enough weight), I had an almost perfect score this week. I only lacked 6 points for missing one meal. And I got the bonus points and ended up with 842.8 out of 850 points. Not bad. Not bad at all. I’m still quite impressed myself :-) Especially because I had such a busy schedule. I still managed to get the meals on time and to squeeze in some exercise every day. I will still have to do some today, when I get back home from our Greens meeting. I thought about doing it in the afternoon, but I had a hard time getting motivated. I blame it on the weather! Anyway I will still have to do at least a short 20 minutes workout before I go to bed.
I’ll be going to the Kieser Training tomorrow before work and plan to go swimming on Wednesday evening. Working out on a daily basis is so much easier to handle, when you have enough spare time at hand in the afternoons / evenings… And the really really great thing is, that this Game works. Since I started playing (living) by the rules 4-5 weeks ago I lost more than 5 kg (11 lb) and I (and my clothes *g*) definitely notice that.

I’m still contemplating which novel to read next. Hopefully I’ll be able to read quite a lot during my vacation next week, but I haven’t made up my mind yet. I’ll have to read and work for my school as well, at least that’s the plan. To take all the stuff with me and have a few uninterrupted afternoons / evenings to actually get some studying done. Maybe I shouldn’t take a novel with me at all :-) No, I’ll need some entertaining reading material as well and as long as it’s not book 7 of the Outlander series I’m rather confident that I won’t spend all my vacation buried in a book. I can’t give any guarentees for the time afterwards though, because said book nr. 7 will be available (even in Germany) from September 22nd as hardcover. I usually prefer paperback but there is no way I’m going to wait another year to be able to read this *g*

I actually wanted to post last week’s project365 with this post, but I guess that will have to wait till later tonight or tomorrow afternoon. All the things I’m already planning to do tomorrow afternoon… My days (especially those with free afternoons and evenings) need more hours!
