Last Saturday a friend and I went to a illuminated dripstone cave. They do illuminations every year and we have been before and enjoyed it. [The post back then was titled “A World of Light Inside a Mountain…”] This time we were quite lucky and entered the caves with a small group of less than 10 people, I think.
I’m not sure I used the right settings on my camera this time, but here are a few of my photos. If the whole scenery looks quite outlandish… that’s what it felt like at times. It’s always fascinating to be reminded how old these caves are and how slowly time seems to have passed there.
