Sometimes really strange things happen. It’s even stranger, that I don’t react to these things like I always thought I would.

Ok, completly cryptic statement, I know.

I actually planned to watch the latest two “White Collar” episodes tonight, but I’ll have to postpone this until… Wednesday, maybe? Too much other stuff going on or needed to be done. At least I finally managed to put together the outline of the presentation I have to give during a seminar mid-February. I had a hard time to get a grip on the whole topic and to come up with a structure and how to present my ideas. Or to have some ideas in the first place :-) But I just mailed my outline to the lecturer and I hope it’s ok, so I can start working on fleshing it all out. It’s going to be a lot of work, that’s what I realized while I wrote the outline. But at least I have gotten the basic idea down. I hope…

I watched the first three episodes of “Sons of Anarchy” last night with some friends and I know I won’t watch any more than these first three episodes. The show isn’t bad, not at all. It’s got some great actors/characters, but there still was something/someone missing to get me hooked. I guess, the main reason for not watching it further: It’s way too dark, violent for my taste. I don’t need “happy, feel good” series all the time, I care for some drama and suspense and all. But watching the events in “Sons of Anarchy” just kept dragging me down. And it was way too bloody. I didn’t have nighmares after watching it, but some of the violent scenes from the show kept popping up in my mind this morning, which I experienced as slightly unsettling, because that usually doesn’t happen to me. My mind usually remembers the happy moments of TV shows, those you love to have popping up anytime.

This afternoon I remembered the one thing I really really loved about season 6 of Grey’s Anatomy. They still have got some awesome music on the show and I got to know some more amazing singers, who I hadn’t discovered all on my own. Listened a lot to Matt Hires today. Great stuff.

This afternoon I also realized that looking at my foursquare Mayor list is valid proof of my pretty dull life at the moment. Central stations. Galeria Kaufhof (department store) and Starbucks, Subway and Vapiano, which all are locations for the quick snack. Rush there, grab something to drink/eat, rush further to some other dull location. Like work. Or home. Blah. I need some more exciting stuff to happen. Or not to happen, but to go out there to some new and exciting place and make the exciting stuff happen. If I just had the time to do that *sigh*

My life was/is so dull that I skipped another week of the project365 photos, because I just couldn’t think of anything interesting to take a photo of. I started again yesterday, maybe the idea for this week will keep me on track…
