There’s one hour left of 2012 over here, so I better write this post quick. I decided to not make resolutions for 2013 an neither any kind of promise to me or anyone. Or at least not publicly here on this blog :-)
My wish for 2013 is a quite simple one: That all of my family, friends and people who are close to me stay safe, healthy and happy and don’t encounter any kind of sickness, loss of a job or whatever other kind of catastrophe there is. Safe, healthy and happy isn’t too much to ask for, is it?
I do have a few plans for 2013 though, but I have to ad that the following list is neither complete nor in any way prioritzed and some of this plans have already taken solid shape (in a “bought tickets and booked a room” kind of way), some are mere ideas and dreams. But anything can happen, right?
- spend a weekend in Hamburg in early March
- get back on a clear track with my grad school requiremnts (classes, termpaper, thesis etc.)
- continue to work on the novel I started writing during NaNoWriMo
- enjoy days in the sun, doing … nothing :-)
- visit the Klimahaus in Bremerhaven
- blog more
- take more photos and not just with my phone
- discover more new music; bands, singer, songwriter… whatever
- spend a few days at the Baltic Sea
- visit London again (that’s probably going to stay a dream for 2013)
- manage to take days off work after the release of “Written In My Own Heart’s Blood” to spend those days reading it
- visit more museums, zoos, parks…
- be more successful at Bro2’s annual Darts Championship
- be more relaxed about life
- be #different2013 :-)
How’s it going? :p
