Mug Shot #03

As requested *g* I went back to my original idea for the title :-)

We have temperatures between -6 to -10 °C / 20 to 14 F here in Germany at the moment, which means I’m drinking a looot of tea to keep warm. Curling fingers around a large mug of hot tea also is perfect to “defrost” once you’re done with dealing with cold and wet laundry in a freezing basement ;-) So where the first two mugs were basically really just large coffecups the next one really is a mug.

When I was in Toronto in 2008 I wanted to buy some hockey memorabilia but I didn’t find one decent store in town that sold Maple Leafs stuff. So buying a NHL mug had to wait two more years until the Indian Summer roadtrip in 2010. We weren’t big fans of Montreal as a city, but of course my hockey friend and I loved to see the Centre Bell, the home of the city’s hockey team, the Montreal Canadiens. And to see how loved this team and this sport is in this city/country. They did have a great shop at the Centre Bell and of course I had to buy a mug. What else?

As I said before, I love “mug shots”!
I’d love to have your coldness right now. We’re battling -20 to -25C here and it is COLD! I’m enjoying huge cups/mugs of tea also!

Looks like a mug that was worth the wait!
